Today is the highlight of your safari. Early in the morning, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called “Africa’s Eden.”

Enjoy a full exploration of this extraordinary wildlife sanctuary—home to black rhinos, large lions, huge herds of buffalo, hyenas, and thousands of flamingos painting the lake pink.
In the late afternoon, drive up the crater rim and settle into your inside-the-conservation-area lodge, surrounded by misty forests and dramatic views.
