1. Payment Policy

To confirm any safari, tour, or reservation with Mwito Asili:

Deposit Requirement:

A minimum 30% deposit of the total package cost is required to secure your booking.

Deposits can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or card payment.

Balance Payment:

The remaining 70% balance is due 14 days prior to the start of the tour.

For bookings made less than 14 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Confirmation:

A booking is confirmed only after Mwito Asili has received the deposit and issued a confirmation voucher or invoice

2. Cancellation Policy

60+ days before departure: Deposit only is retained (deposit is non‑refundable)

30‑59 days before departure: 50% of total booking cost

15‑29 days before departure: 75% of total booking cost

Less than 15 days / no‑show: 100% of total booking cost

All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email/WhatsApp)

Travel insurance is recommended to cover unforeseen cancellations

Quick Explanation

“Deposit non‑refundable” means the initial deposit you paid to secure your booking will not be returned if you cancel.

The closer the cancellation is to the departure date, the higher the fee — this protects us from non‑recoverable costs like lodges, park fees, and guides.

Refunds

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 business days from the date we receive your cancellation notice

No refund is given for “no-show” or early departure from the tour.

We recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as illness or flight cancellations.

3. Changes & Modifications

Any changes to tour dates or itinerary must be requested in writing.

Mwito Asili will do its best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability.

Changes may incur additional fees depending on seasonality, accommodation, or transport costs.

4. Special Notes

Group bookings of 6+ people may have a customized payment schedule.

Seasonal bookings (peak season: June–October & December–January) may require full upfront payment.

All prices are subject to local taxes and park fees, which are included in the package unless stated otherwise.
